We are privileged each year to recognize several outstanding presenters as part of the presenters' luncheon. With nearly 200 presenters present, we take pleasure in making these deserving awards. These presenters have demonstrated, sometimes over many years, the qualities we seek. What are those qualities? Here are some of the qualities that make for outstanding presenters at PLRB:

  1. Strong skills, deep knowledge, and extensive experience with the subject matter.
  2. Focuses on our advertised learning objectives. Learning objectives describe what attendees can demonstrate after attending this particular session.
  3. Sensitive to the audience. Addresses their needs and interests, first and foremost.
  4. Clear, compelling, engaging presentation. The audience is drawn into meaningful activities as everyone learns together.
  5. Practical, useful handouts. Attendees often take these handouts back to the office, employ them with future claims and share them with colleagues.
  6. High energy, enthusiasm for the subject matter and for teaching and sharing with industry professionals.
  7. Uses practical, real-life claim examples and scenarios.
  8. Organized, easy to follow. Presenter meets all deadlines in preparing for and delivering the session.
  9. Focuses on delivering excellent claims training and education. Meets the audience's needs, rather than promoting themselves or their companies.
  10. Delivers the latest and best information on the topic at hand; presents the information from the audience's perspective, rather than from the expert's perspective.
  11. Embraces creativity, new technology, and new ways to deliver claims training and education.
  12. Displays great teamwork in working with co-presenters

It was my first time, so it was a great time hearing from a lot of different people and experiencing something new.

I like there are educated speakers who show genuine appreciation and passion for their topics.

I enjoyed the variety of sessions and the networking promoted within the session. I alsoappreciated the collection of exhibitors that had various ways of engagement.

The Networking was amazing, but just being able to be together with peers and new friendsagain was so needed!

I enjoyed meeting other professionals in the business. I also loved the various topics andhearing how other insurance carriers were addressing some of the same issues we encounter.

The informational sessions were very useful and gave me a lot of great things to bring backwith me.

The variety of content and the sessions that were interactive. So valuable to learn from otherattendees and how they tackle challenges and issues at their organizations.

Opportunity to connect with other claim professionals and vendors. Informative & interestingpresentations. Appreciated that a lot of the presentations qualified for CE credit.

PLRB greatly appreciates the following claims service providers for their outstanding support for the 2023 Claims Conference.
